Feeds Unavailable in Some App Stores
January 3, 2009 — Mike (admin)For some reason there is a bug in the App Store right now and Feeds does not come up when searching and if you can find it an error page comes up. This could be related to the fact that we just released version 0.99 and Apple may be updating the store right now. We have already sent a happy email for to Apple to let them know of the bug. In the meantime, it appears that most people are having success finding feeds in iTunes from their computers.
It looks like all I’d back to normal in the App Store now.
Please let us know if you have any issues finding it and we will post when Apple resolves their issues.
Google Reader Integration Status
December 11, 2008 — Mike (admin)After a hiatus to Japan for 2 weeks we are back on the prowl getting Google Reader integration wrapped up. As we work through adding functionality we are of course coming to some roadblocks that are requiring us to make some decisions on what to include and what to scrap. The biggest problem we are having is with offline mode and synching properly when there is no internet connection. Unlike the non-reader part of Feeds, we don’t have a way to ask Google for all posts that came after x. We instead, have to download a whole bunch of extra posts which is quite slow over Edgel (more…)
Feeds Server Maintenance
October 15, 2008 — Mike (admin)We will be doing a bit of work on our servers and there will be an outtage for approximately 1 hour on October 24th. The downtime will occur between 12 AM and 6 AM Central Time. During that hour, Feeds will not be able to sync feed items.
We thank you all for your patience while we complete the server upgrade.
Feeds Version 0.96 Sent to Apple for Review
September 22, 2008 — Mike (admin)We just sent a new version to Apple so that they can grace it with their approval and get it out to everyone. This version is a very minor update and will hopefully be our last release before we get Google Reader integration in there. (more…)
Updating App Store Reviews
September 12, 2008 — Mike (admin)This post goes out to all the people who reviewed Feeds. We thank everyone who took the time to review Feeds (except for those individuals who put a review in for Feeds without purchasing or using it). Some great ideas were generated in the reviews and they helped to shape what Feeds now is. If anyone has a review out there for the old version (which is very, VERY different from the 0.95 release) can you please update it so that it is accurate? For anyone who hasn’t yet reviewed Feeds, if you use the application at all please take a few minutes out of your day to put in a review. We use the reviews to shape how the future of the product goes, along with the comments on this blog and the comments we receive via email. We strive to have accurate reviews up that are for the current version to avoid confusion for people who haven’t tried Feeds yet

Feeds 0.95 Finally Available in the App Store Plus New Features
September 10, 2008 — Mike (admin)Apple has finally gotten around to giving Feeds 0.95 the OK. Hopefully future updates will push through a lot faster than this one did. We are chalking it up to the September 9th event Apple had.
We snuck a couple new features into Feeds that we hadn’t talked about previously. One is the theming support. You can now make Feeds’ color scheme match Apples blue or you can go with the default green, black or orange. Hopefully this is enough color choices to keep everyone happy.
Feeds Version 0.95 in Review by Apple
September 2, 2008 — Mike (admin)We sent off the new version of Feeds late last night for review by Apple. For a sneak peak of what’s in store just go to the Feeds page in iTunes or the App Store. It turns out Apple decided to update our text and images before they put the update in the App Store. It usually takes them about 5 – 7 days to finish their approval process so expect the update then.
Feeds Version 0.95 is Feature Complete

New Features for the Next Major Update
