@Brent if you are in a category and you touch 'Mark All as Read' it will only mark that category as read. Likewise for when you are in a single feed. The problem with marking only the current page of items as read is that if you have 20 feed items on screen, Feeds would have to send out 20 http requests which you definitely do not want to do. The performance would be horrible. When Google officially releases their API they might include a batch function like they do with Reader which would make it doable.

I'm not finding 'Mark All as Read' across my whole google reader account to be terribly useful. Can we get a 'Mark all visible items As Read' or 'Mark this Feed Group as Read'?

I like the page advancing Mark-As-Read on the google reader iphone site, as the majority of my RSS items are not worth reading and I don't want to see them as new when I go back in.

Hi Michael, We sent an update to Apple a couple days ago that should take care of the problem. Please let us know when you download the update if it allows you to remove the feed.

Madouc, Thank you for the feedback. We are hard at work on the above requests. With the exception of being able to view the webpages right in Feeds (which will require Apple to fix a couple bugs in Mobile Safari before it is stable enough for us) we should have the rest of the features ready for the next release if all goes well. Unfortunately, we don't provide exact release dates but as a rough estimate you can expect it sometime in the near future.

HI there, I have used 3 RSS feed apps for iPhone, newsgator which is great but i dont read off the pc so its a mission to add feeds. Also I bough iRSS mobile which is nice but very unstable.

I bought you app and I must say I really love it compared to all the others, it is quick and easy to use with no stabiliy issues.

If the requests made above are built in it will be PERFECT

Ed, the next version of feeds will have the unread count next to each feed if all goes well. We have to finish up offline mode in order to be able to get an accurate count. Both features are closely coupled and will be released simultaneously.

Loving the update. One more feature request, can the feeds that have unread items appear bold or even better show the number of unread items.

Hi Joel, Thank you for the comment. Grouping the feeds into categories sounds like a viable option. We will certainly consider it for a future update.

First let me say that Feeds is the one add-on iPhone application that I use every day. It has truly changed the way I access information. Thanks for your great work.

One brief suggestion: Any chance you could make the program have the ability to group feeds into user-defined categories (e.g., news, entertainment, science, etc.)? I have a good number of feeds, and grouping them would really help me out.

Peace.
