Feeds Unavailable in Some App Stores
January 3, 2009 — Mike (admin)For some reason there is a bug in the App Store right now and Feeds does not come up when searching and if you can find it an error page comes up. This could be related to the fact that we just released version 0.99 and Apple may be updating the store right now. We have already sent a happy email for to Apple to let them know of the bug. In the meantime, it appears that most people are having success finding feeds in iTunes from their computers.
It looks like all I’d back to normal in the App Store now.
Please let us know if you have any issues finding it and we will post when Apple resolves their issues.
Do you have an ETA or any update on when Apple will resolve this?
Could you please post the changelog from the previous version on this site somewhere? Perhaps upcoming features use to be used for this?

we have no ETA at this time. As soon as Apple gets back to us we will let you know. Unfortunately, I cannot post the changelog at this timebecause we are at the airport on our way to MacWorld.

I’ve been using the appshopper to watch for new apps. Whenever I go to find an app I’ve spotted that’s very new the search in the Appstore fails to find it about 70% of the time. I think it takes a while for the Appstore to get the search index updated. I’ve found that if I use the appshopper site to email their page about the new app to myself and then use that emailed link to link to the Appstore THEN it will find the app with no issue. Really weird but I guess I’m trying to say you’re not alone in this problem….
