Feeds Jumps to Version 1.94

We just sent an update to Apple a few minutes ago. This update fixes the iOS 4 issues with popups (username/password entry and tags) and also fixes the feed list now showing new items. We also managed to stick a couple new features in there. You can now save a bookmark to Delicious along with tags and Instapaper Mobilizer can be used to view web pages in Feeds. Enjoy your fancy new iPhone if you got one!

    Hey Mike,

Great, glad to see the update. Any idea when will we see an update for iOS 4 background (save state) compatibility and also iPhone 4 retina display high quality artwork? Also I would still like to see the option to hide the Starred Items / All Items / Shared Items options if we’re not using those functions, just to get back some valuable screen restate (I had requested this a few months back).

    Keep up the good work…

    Thanks,

    Stuart

@Stuart, my iPhone 4 just got here yesterday and I almost threw up when I saw the icon on the Springboard. I updated that icon last night but the rest will have to be totally redone because all the artwork was made at the lower resolution of the old iPhones.

We have been running a beta build that fully supports fast app switching that will probably be sent to Apple soon.

Mike, I was playing with Feeds on my iPhone 3G running iOS4. The new Delicious function is an amazing addition I’m thanking you for, but it doesn’t work if we use Delicious with our Yahoo account. It will require a small change to its authentication service! That’s how all other apps had to do it. You can look into it with the app Yummy Lite.

@stef, we aren’t planning to support Delicious with Yahoo ID’s at this time. The process they require to get access isn’t at all user friendly just yet. They have plans to use the same method that Twitter does which doesn’t require the whole go to yahoo, login, give application permission, copy access code, return to application, paste code dance.

The more they hear about people demanding this the better so I would highly suggest shooting them a support request asking for it. The newer, more user friendly version is called XOauth.
